Our client Carlsen Baltic is a Danish-owned company with more than 85 years of experience in the automotive industry. We are a market leading manufacturer of lightweight refrigerated truck bodies for frozen, chilled and multitemperature food distribution. Over 15 000 bodies for light commercial vehicles were produced by Carlsen in the last decades.

We are looking for a Business Development/Sales Manager, who will be primarily responsible for attracting new clients for our relatively new product line, including food trucks and trailers.

Job description: 
  • Development and implementation of B2B sales strategy.
  • Defining target markets and creating a new customer base in Western Europe. Generating leads and qualifying opportunities.
  • Preparing commercial offers and leading negotiations with customers.
  • Visiting potential customers and participating in trade fairs.
  • Working closely with different departments across the business.
  • 1–2 years of proven track record in technical products sales management (ideally in the commercial kitchen equipment industry).
  • Good command of German and English languages (both written and spoken).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with new people.
  • Goal oriented personality.
  • Proactive attitude – taking the initiative, ambitious and continuously striving for high performance.
  • Technical background or experience with technical product is an advantage.
