Loan origination team is responsible for the customer's journey from when they start to fill an application for a loan until they sign the contract. Our team owns 20+ services including customer facing web applications, back-office web applications for our customer administrators, integrations with government registries and various 3rd party services.

• Back-end services: Java with Spring Boot, Node.js. Services communicate via message brokers (rabbitmq) and Rest API's.
• Web applications: Vue.js
• Applications are packaged to Docker containers and deployed to our Openshift environments (https://www.okd.io/)
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis
• Atlassian stack is used for our ticketing system (Jira), version control (Bitbucket), CI pipeline (Bamboo).

• At least 2 years of development experience

• 3+ years of software engineering experience; 
• Commercial experience building server-side applications and good knowledge of the relevant programming languages (i.e Java 8 or newer); 
• Familiar with Java backend frameworks (e.g. Spring/Spring Boot); 
• Exposure to microservices or implementing and consuming RESTful APIs; 
• Fluent English speaker with excellent spoken and written communication skills; 
• Degree in software development or in a similar field would be considered as an advantage; 
• Back-end experience in payment, fintech, banking or financial services market would be considered as an advantage; 
• Ability to work independently, willingness to share ideas and experience between team members.
