Job description:
We invite you to join Pon.Bike Lithuania as a Senior Accountant and become a part of the world-leading bicycle family Pon.Bike. You will report to the Finance manager at Pon.Bike Lithuania and will be responsible for monthly financial closing activities, internal and governmental reports and administrative work according to the established procedures.

Key responsibilities:
- Monthly financial closing activities.
- Ensuring timely, daily processing of financial records according to established procedures.
- Periodically closing the accounts for the reporting period according to established procedures (incl reservations, memorandum entries, etc), including a qualitative review (incl corrective entries).
- Preparation of returns to the various tax authorities (sales tax, payroll tax, corporate tax, packaging tax etc).
- Handling the ICL declaration.
- Supervise correct (financial) processing of salaries and social charges.
- Support administrative work with regard to insurance, subsidies, banking and customs.
- Taking care of the administrative work around new capex requests and exits in accordance with established procedures.
- Other related responsibilities and tasks delivered by the Finance Manager.
Requirements:
- Have Several years of experience in a similar position (preferably in the international company) and thorough knowledge of accounting.
- Have a bachelor degree in Finance (for example Accounting, Business Economics etc.).
- Are able to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written).
- Have experience with ERP software (SAP would be an advantage), professional Excel skills.
- Are able to set the right priorities due to the need to keep several balls in the air at the same time in this multifunctional role.
- From a personality perspective, are go-getter, doer, who thinks in terms of possibilities and who are of course accurate and reliable, also like to collaborate with colleagues, and set high standards for yourself.
- Having knowledge of LEAN concepts, methods and techniques and knowing in which situation to apply them would be an advantage.
